You will work on your feet for long hours inside a compact salon space on a moving vessel, managing a demanding itinerary across major European waterways. You must remain polite, professional, and composed while serving a continuous stream of international guests, all while coping with months of seasonal isolation away from your family, friends, and regular support circles.

However, if you possess proven hairdressing expertise and are ready to commit to a rigorous seasonal schedule, the contractual security here is outstanding. This position offers a premium Swiss contract that protects you with full Swiss social security and health insurance. Furthermore, the structured 9-week work and 3-week paid vacation rotation ensures your rest periods are guaranteed. With your accommodation, food, initial embarkation flight ticket fully paid, and secondary public transport costs reimbursed with your salary, your overhead expenses are practically zero, allowing you to save efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Full Salon Services: Provide professional hair consultations, cutting, styling, coloring, and specialized treatments tailored to an upscale, international clientele.
• Salon Management: Manage appointments independently, track salon inventory, and maintain immaculate cleanliness and sterilization of all equipment according to strict public health and safety standards.
• Product Promotion: Present, advise on, and sell premium hair care products to salon visitors to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Guest Relations: Deliver excellent customer service, maintaining a welcoming, calm, and conversational environment under the cruise line's high-standard hospitality protocols.

Requirements: Who Can Apply?

• Professional Qualifications: Certified, fully trained hairdresser or stylist with a recognized diploma or certificate in cosmetology/hairdressing.
• Experience: Proven history working as a salon hairdresser. Previous experience on cruise vessels or within premium 4-5 star hotels is highly valuable.
• Language Skills: Functional, communicative command of English to handle international guest consultations smoothly.
• Resilience: Excellent physical stamina to stand for entire shifts, paired with the mental readiness to adapt to shipboard regulations and long periods away from home.
