Position Description

The Kitchen Steward is a vital part of the culinary team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the galley and all its equipment. Your duties include operating dishwashers, cleaning floors and surfaces, and assisting chefs with basic preparation tasks. This foundational role is unique because it is essential for kitchen hygiene and efficiency. A dedicated Kitchen Steward can gain a strong understanding of kitchen operations and advance to a Commis de Cuisine position.
