Position Description
As an Ordinary Seaman, you are at the beginning of your maritime career, providing general assistance to the deck department. Your duties primarily involve cleaning and maintaining the vessel's deck and structures, as well as assisting the Able Seamen with their tasks. This is the foundational role where you gain essential practical experience and learn the ropes from your more experienced colleagues. Dedication and a willingness to learn will lead to a promotion to Able Seaman.
