CHIEF OFFICER
Position Description
As the vessel's Chief Officer, you are the second-in-command, responsible for all deck operations, including cargo handling, safety equipment, and maintenance. You supervise the deck crew, manage their schedules, and ensure all deck activities are carried out efficiently and safely. This role is a perfect blend of hands-on management and navigational duties, as you stand bridge watch and prepare for your ultimate promotion. The path from Chief Officer to Master is a well-defined and achievable career goal.
