Position Description
As a Deck Trainee, you are taking your first steps toward a career at sea. Your role is to learn the basics of deck operations, which includes assisting the crew with cleaning, painting, and mooring procedures. This is a foundational position that provides the initial training and hands-on experience needed to understand life on board. With hard work and dedication, you will quickly be ready for promotion to an Ordinary Seaman.
