We are looking for a 2nd Engineer ready to join ASAP
Position Summary:
Carrying out maintenance of specific equipment as assigned. Controlling, and participating in the operation, maintenance and repair of machinery as directed. 2nd engineer is also required to carry out engine room watchkeeping duties.
Requirements:
- Class 3 COC / STCW III/1 Officer in Charge of Engineering Watch (OICEW)
- STCW certification
- preferably 18 months sea time as Second Eng. &/or 12 months as Asst Hotel Service Engineer
- Previous experience onboard operating cruise ships similar size
- Excellent verbal and written command of the English and French languages
